By creating an account or using PCOS Coach, you agree to these terms. Read them carefully.

What PCOS Coach is

PCOS Coach is a self-care companion app for people managing polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and related conditions. The app helps you track your cycle, mood, symptoms, weight, and habits; surfaces personalized insights; and offers an AI Coach (Peach) for educational conversations.

PCOS Coach is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any question regarding your health, your medications, or your reproductive care.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use PCOS Coach on iOS devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without our written authorization.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the AI Coach or our APIs.
Send the AI Coach content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that you do not have the right to share.
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
Resell access to PCOS Coach.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these rules.

Subscriptions and billing

PCOS Coach offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (weekly, monthly, annual, lifetime). All paid purchases are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. Subscription pricing, billing periods, and renewal behavior are governed by Apple's terms; you can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

A 7-day free trial may be offered to new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will renew at the regular price.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

AI Coach (Peach)

Peach is an AI conversational assistant that uses an underlying language model (currently OpenAI's GPT models). Peach's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should not rely on Peach for medical decisions.

Peach has access to a structured summary of your tracker data so it can give personalized educational responses. The summary includes your cycle, mood, recent symptoms, profile, and goals — it does not include free-text notes verbatim unless you choose to send them.

Health data limitations

Tracking apps cannot replace clinical care. The AI Coach is not a substitute for a clinician. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. If you have ongoing symptoms, please see a qualified doctor.

We make no claim that using PCOS Coach will improve PCOS symptoms, regulate cycles, support fertility, or improve any specific health outcome. Every body is different.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you have paid us for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 50 EUR, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations — in that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by your local law.

Privacy

Your use of PCOS Coach is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available from the Privacy & terms screen. By using the app, you consent to the practices described there.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Spain, unless your local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring the dispute in your country of residence.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to the app immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that risks harm to other users or to us.

Account deletion is available in-app under Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your data per our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after the change implies acceptance of the new terms.
